Welcome to Beyond the Boundary

Hi, Welcome to Beyond the Boundary, an independent publication created by me, David Gofman. I am a lifelong sports fan, and grew up in Connecticut cheering for the Mets, Jets, and Knicks. At one point I considered pursuing a career in sports broadcasting but chose to complete a graduate degree in Sport and Performance Psychology, driven by my fascination with the mental aspects of performance.

These days my love of sports has focused mostly on baseball, as the richness and joy that the game provides me has caused me to spend less time following other sports as closely. Much of my time these days is spent working in the small mental health counseling practice I own, but I still enjoy writing about topics related to baseball, often looking for ways to integrate my knowledge of psychology and human performance with the game I love. Beyond the Boundary is a space for me to do just that, and I hope you enjoy your time here and consider subscribing.
